November Book Haul

(p.s. sorry for the blurriness)

*backtrack*
In the beginning of the month, I went to Popular to pick up a book that I needed for my English holiday homework (it's A Sense of Belonging), but they didn't have it in stock. But, I also went there because Allegiant was released in late October and I was so pumped for it.

it costs $18 (and some cents) but I got it for around $13 as it was on promotion, I think.
**I read this already, and I'm that half of the people who do not like the ending. For those who have not yet read this book or started on the series, this book is narrated by both Tris and Tobias, which is quite confusing when I first read it, but it is necessary for the story to continue as it nears the ending :(

(To the main part of the haul!)
MPH has held many book sales in the Singapore Expo (it's almost monthly!) and I went to the one this month on the 9th of Nov. As it was the last day of the sale, the books were extremely messy. So if you do want to go to these types of sales, I recommend to go on the first day (duh) crisp books, neatly arranged ...
So the deal at this particular sale (never been to the others before) is that if the prices stated on the books are $10.99 and below, it's $5 (5 books for $20) and $11.00 and up are $8 each (5 books for $35)

this is my haul!

(sorry for the terrible focus and exposure)

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain. My dad was so psyched when he found this. Haha it's a classic and I have not read it, so why not

(Left to right) Pretty Little Liars' Heartless, Twisted, Ruthless, Stunning and Pretty Little Secrets (companion novel) by Sara Shepard
My dad and I found the others as well but they are either hardback or really screwed up. I already have the first four books but now I need Wicked and Killer to continue..

L.A Candy and Sugar and Spice by Lauren Conrad. I bought the second book of the series 3 years ago without even reading the first book. How dumb of me. But now I can finally know what the hell went down in the first one!

Once and Rise by Anna Carey (Eve series)
The funny thing about sales like this is that I see a whole bunch of the following books of a series but never the first one! Ridiculous. Now I can't even start on this series (which I've heard many great reviews!)

(this picture sucks so bad)
Torment, Passion, Rapture and Fallen in Love (companion novel) by Lauren Kate (Fallen series)
Same thing as the Eve series. Saw stacks and stacks of the books shown up there but not one of the Fallen book!

A Fashion Fairytale Memoir- Manolo Blahnik and the Tale of the Elves & The Shoemaker
by Camilla Morton, illustrated by Manolo Blahnik
First book that caught my eye, you can see the beautiful classic drawings by the great man himself

Lauren Conrad's Beauty and Style.
Every girly girl's must haves (though I don't consider myself one)
The Beauty one is so pretty for display ;)

Justin Bieber's Just Getting Started
Was so excited to see this! I saw this in the beginning of the year at Kinokuniya and it was retailling at $31.99 and I got it for less than $8!

One Direction's The Official Annual 2013 and Behind the Scenes
The fangirl in me was so happy although after I read it, I felt that they were pretty useless

One Direction's Where We Are
This wasn't part of the sale (probably a promotion) but we were at checkout and the ladies at the counter were confused about the 1D books and were talking about the "Hot Pink" one , and I was like "Where?!" and saw the display near the queue. This was $20. The inside is mesmerising ♡ :

♡ beautiful fan art that were submitted for competition ♡

Each member has a good section of the book ♥

The back of the book with a really cute photo and their signatures! ♥

Total excluding Where We Are: $95. Pretty good huh? :D

Thank you for reading!
Oops, I almost forgot. Happy belated 1D Day and Doctor Who's 50th anniversary!
